Luxury Garden Guest Lodge in Oxfordshire

Our client’s lovely Oxfordshire home, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, whilst charming did not provide sufficient accommodation for children and grandchildren to visit. Hence, after applying for planning permission approval, we constructed this lovely garden lodge, with rustic sawn featheredge Cedar cladding, to provide a guest lodge suite at the end of the garden.

We constructed this luxury garden guest lodge in awful weather in a sodden, muddy garden and with a real deadline for completion. Our client wanted us to hand over the keys by 22 December, in readiness to move in furniture so that family members could make use of this garden guest lodge and sleep in it over the Christmas period!

The lodge comprises a single guest room with sofa bed and Velux roof window, with en-suite shower room and an integral garden store room alongside. See the plan below for the layout of this snug guest room.
